Personal Desk is a private assistant used by one person, its owner, to organise their own email, calendar and tasks. It is not offered to the public and nobody else can sign in to it.
What it accesses. With the account owner's permission, Personal Desk reads their Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Tasks, files their email into labels, and adds tasks and calendar events for them.
Where the data goes. Everything is processed on the owner's own computer. Summaries are sent only to the owner's private Telegram chat. Short extracts of bill and booking emails may be processed by an AI model to pull out due dates and amounts, and card and account numbers are masked first. No data is sold, shared or used for advertising.
Sending mail. Personal Desk never sends email. It can only save drafts, which the owner reviews and sends themselves.
Keeping and deleting data. Extracted facts are kept for up to 60 days on the owner's computer. Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google API Services. Personal Desk's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
